Step 1 of 4
Open it from your CRM
PDF Generator Pro lives in the left nav of every sub-account. Open it there — signing in from inside the CRM is how it knows which location to work with.
Confirm your brand kit
Set your logo, colours, fonts and footer once. Every document you generate comes out on-brand.
Pick a design
28 designer templates across invoices, quotes, proposals, contracts, receipts, onboarding packs and certificates — every one wears your brand.
Add Generate PDF to a workflow
Drop the action into any workflow. It merges live CRM data, stores the PDF, and hands the workflow back a shareable link.
Before you start
- A sub-account with the app installed from the app marketplace.
- Access to the dashboard inside the CRM — the only way in, so there is no separate login to create.
- Your business details and a logo, if you want them printed on documents.
Install from the app marketplace
Find the app in the marketplace and install it to a sub-account. The install flow asks for the permissions the generator needs to read contacts, opportunities and invoices, then lands you inside the app.
Installation is per sub-account. Each one gets its own brand kit, templates and document history, so an agency can roll the app out across many locations without their settings bleeding into each other.
Confirm your brand
The first screen is a short wizard that prefills your business details from the CRM. Confirm or correct each part of the letterhead — this becomes the brand kit every template inherits.
- 1Logo, or your business name if you set none
- 2Letterhead — address, email, phone, website
- 3Accent colour, on rules, headings and totals
- 4Typeface, across the whole document
- 5Footer line, on every page
Change any of it later from the dashboard, and every document follows.
Pick a template
Seven document types ship with professionally designed starter templates. Each design is a real layout, not a blank page — pick one and your brand kit is applied to it automatically.
- Invoice
- QuoteValid
- Proposal
- Contract
- ReceiptPaid
- Onboarding
- Certificate
Customise the template
Open a template to make it yours. The editor is a short wizard:
- Name the template.
- Override colours, typeface and the page header.
- Choose which recipient and document fields appear.
- Adjust the wording — notes, payment instructions, terms.
A live preview renders your actual document as you edit, so what you see is what the workflow produces.
Generate one by hand
Before wiring automation, generate a single document from the dashboard to confirm it looks right. Pick a contact and a template; the finished PDF is saved to your document history with a link you can copy.
Automate with a workflow action
The generator is a native workflow action, so there is no webhook plumbing and no third-party automation tool in the path. Open the workflow builder, add the Generate PDF action, and fill in what the template reads:
The contact is supplied automatically. When the workflow runs it produces the document and carries the download link forward — attach it to an email, write it to a field, or send it to the contact. See the workflow action guide.
